| Monday 18th October BBC GMR's Alan Keegan and 'The Parlour Team' came down to the Packhorse to broadcast their show live from the pub. The award winning Mike McGoldrick and Dezi Donnelly from 'Toss the Feathers' performed live for the show along with Skirm, Trish O'Grady and rock group 'Year Zero'. Lawrence Hennigan and Mayo born landlady of the Union Mary McGee were both interviewed live on the show.
