Highfield Country Park organised an Open Day with a walk around Levenshulme’s very own unique piece of the Countryside that is ‘Highfield Country Park’. The day had a real family atmosphere to it and was enjoyed by both a cross section of the community.
During the evening local singing sensation ‘Suzie Q’ made an appearance with her band ‘The New Originals’ playing hits from the 1960’s to the present day at the Palace Nightclub. A packed venue was kept dancing the night away until the early hours. While over at the Packhorse, Celtic Rock band ‘Celtic Vibes’ made a successful return to the venue for the festival.
