YASP is an independent project for 15 to 25 year olds that provides advice, support and practical help to young people under stress - helping you to get your head together.

We help with a variety of problems:
Housing - Helping you find somewhere to live and support whilst in your accommodation.

Benefits - Obtaining the welfare benefits that you are entitled to.

Money - Practical advice and help around budgeting and paying bills.

Health - Advice and help on getting a GP, meeting your health needs and drug and alcohol issues.

The Law - Helping you if you are in trouble with the law.

Education - Advice if you having problems at school or with Social Services.

Relationships - Someone to listen when you are having problems with family or other people you know.

Counselling - One to one Counselling from trained counsellors as well self-help groups for young people experiencing distress including depression and anxiety.

Monday to Friday 10.30 to 4pm
Advice Drop-in, Café and Internet access.
Just drop in during the above times.

Tuesday Health Drop-in 3pm to 5.30pm
Confidential help from trained health workers about contraception, free condoms, pregnancy testing, relationship issues, emotional support and general health checks
