This years festival will be officially launched with BBC Radio Manchester and a host of special guests. Live entertainment is from the Manchester School of Samba (www.msamba.org.uk), Refresh Theatre Company, Salsa Dancers and Eqyptian dancers plus acoustic performances.

Oxfam’s fundraising music campaign features the UK’s fast rising acoustic Diva ‘October’ as heard on Radio 1 plus Adam Kelly, Amida, Tony Reid, Dave Green, Karl Eland, Pendula, Lost City Ramblers, Redwood Thinkers and Native State. Meet Gail Sullivan from the legendary Phil & Gail late night radio show on BBC Radio Manchester. Gail will be broadcasting her show live from the venue from 10pm-11pm

From Mayo to Dublin in search of the Sam Maguire.
A documentary photo exhibition detailing Mayo’s Gaelic Football Team’s progress in the ALL Ireland Gaelic Football competition. The exhibition will chart the team’s progress from winning the Connaught championship in Castlebar to their performance against Kerry at Croake Park in Dublin, in the ALL Ireland Final.
