Hilary Green writes what she descibes as 'novels of love and war'. Set against the background of World War Two , many of her books are inspired by tales and memories from her mother and grandmother.

This is one of two talks to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the outbreak of World War Two. The library is promoting a special collection of war stories, fact and fiction and hosting events with two authors, both of whom write stories set against the background of the war.
