" You see an attractive woman strolling through town, wearing designer clothes you automatically assumed she has everything you want: status and wealth and happiness.

It's often far from the truth.

Western culture blows up our superficial side. We're all superficial - it's our instinct when it comes to appearance. It's down to the individual to cognitize that.

In the paintings glossy magazine cuttings are set next to scribbles and crude brush strokes. I find mass media imagery as beguiling as I do poisonous. The collage and other materials make up narratives. Some are intentional others are accidental."
