Halloween Night Market

bringing ourt community together

Levenshulme Market is celebrating Halloween with an extra-special night market party, on Friday 28th October, 4pm to 9pm – promising delicious street food, live music, and costume competitions for both people and their pets!

The Halloween night market party is a food and drink special, with hand-picked traders selling the very best in delicious Manchester street food, sweet treats and drinks. Market-goers will have a tricky job choosing from the many foodie treats on offer, including gourmet mac & cheese, Bao & Gyoza, Dutch pancakes, Malaysian specials and authentic Quebec-style poutine.

Hot coffees and special boozy hot drinks are available from the Coffee Cranks Cooperative mobile coffee cart, while real ale, craft beer and wine will be provided by a pop-up bar run by local eatery The Buttery, whose owner Neil Buttery has been nominated for a Manchester Food and Drink Festival 2016 award for Best Pop-Up.

Levenshulme Market’s night markets are always fun, family-friendly party events, but this Halloween special is an all-out super spooktacular!

The market is delighted to announce a special performance from False Nines, who have featured on BBC Radio 6 Music as well as supporting artists such as The Wave Picture and C Duncan over the last year or so. Based in Manchester, False Nines are four musicians in thrall to the moments where indie-pop, rock and roll and alt-country come together. Fans of things such as Field Music, Elliott Smith, The Wave Pictures, Wilco, White Denim and many more, they've been writing material together since late 2012.

Fancy dress is most definitely encouraged at the night market, as prizes will be awarded for the best Halloween costumes. There’s a £20 market voucher up for grabs for adult revellers, with special prizes on offer for best children’s costume. For the first time, Levy Market will also feature a dog costume parade this Halloween, with a prize for the best-dressed pooch!
