Verbose bring Spoken Word Night to Levenshulme

Verbose will stage their Spoken word night on Monday 24 September in Freds

‘Verbose’ the award winning New Writing and Spoken Word night is coming to Lovely Levenshulme on Monday 24 September. They will stage their event in the first floor ‘Cedar Room’ performance space at Freds Ale House. Its free admission and the event kicks off at 730pm. See www.twitter.com/verbosemcr

Tony Hennigan from the Levenshulme Festival commented “It looks a great line up and it makes an ideal warm up event for our annual Levfest which starts on Friday 5 October and runs until Sunday 21 October.”

1. Emma Jane Unsworth
Emma is an award-winning Manchester novelist, she adapted her 2nd novel, Animals into a screenplay & the film, starring Holliday Grainger & Alia Shawkat, which will have its premiere in Spring 2019. The 3rd & 4th novels are coming soon!

2. Nicola Mostyn
Nicola’s debut novel, The Gods of Love (Pikatus 2018) is a fantastical female hero story drawing on myths of Greek gods but set in the modern day (think Sex and the City meets Clash of the Titans) – we can't wait to hear more!

3. Emily Morris
