WATCH: Levenshulme goes Mad for Sam.
Levenshulme is set to be a sea of green and red for Sunday's All-Ireland Football Final. Mayo take on Dublin at 3.30pm, with the team hoping to lift the Sam Maguire trophy for the first time since 1951. Green and Red bunting has gone up in the south Manchester suburb as residents keep their fingers crossed for the big match on Sunday.
Screening the game in the suburb will be Hennigan's Sport's Bar, The Union Inn, The Horseshoe and Fiddler's Green. Dublin will be the betting favourites but in the heat of the battle, anything is possible at Croke Park.
Tony Hennigan, Managing Director if the Mayo / Manchester Tourism and Business Group said, "Our area has literally gone 'mad for sam'. There's nerves aplenty but there is quiet confidence that we can finally end our 65 year wait for the All-Ireland. Mayo have not won an All-Ireland in my lifetime - now is the time."
The last time Mayo won an All-Ireland was in September 1951. We've tracked down footage from that historic day. Can Mayo finally end their 65 year hoodoo? Find out this Sunday at Hennigan's Sport's Bar, The Union Inn, The Horseshoe and Fiddler's Green. #mayo4sam
