Levenshulme author launches new book.
Author and Children's TV script writer Steve Wood will launch his new book 'The Angels of Mona Terrace' during this years Levenshulme Festival. The book, set in 1971, is based around the author's childhood memories growing up in Levenshulme.
A special launch event is being held in Levenshulme Baptist Church on Elmsworth Avenue, off Broom Lane in Levenshulme on Monday 26 October 2009.
Steve will also be running Free Creative Workshops for local primary schools in Levenshulme from Monday 2 November to Friday 6 November.

The 2011 Levenshulme Festival will run from Friday 21st October to Sunday 6th November 2011
The festival goes from strength to strength and is now firmly established as one of the biggest community events in Europe. Yet again, we would like to thank all our sponsors including Manchester City Council and the numerous venues and groups whose support and participation makes the festival possible.
