Lead singer Bobby Magee from Didsbury explains the reasons behind the charity single
"All the band have a great affinity to the work that the hospital does. I have worked at the hospital as a physiotherapist and we have had some family members who have been helped by the hospital. It is very special place and I have been lucky enough to work closely with the amazing staff and patients that walk through its doors. We wanted to do something to thank them for the great work they do and the support that they have given to our family and many other families across the northwest, the single will be dedicated to The Christie and loved and lost ones in their memory"

“We appreciate that nearly everyone will know of someone be it a friend or family member that has been affected by cancer, that’s why we believe it is so important. This cause is very close to our hearts, so we will be working very hard to make this a success. Please support our cause and download the single and let’s raise as much money as possible for The Christie!”
